WHO?

Woolnut was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in late October 2012 by three friends with backgrounds in design engineering and product development. With a genuine interest in tech, design and modern craftsmanship, it quickly got clear that most of the existing protection covers and sleeves for laptops lacked the combination of using extraordinary organic materials together with minimalistic and functional designs.

WHAT?

Woolnut's lineup of Nordic design, minimalistic leather accessories is tailor-made for a range of Apple products. They make sleeves and folios for MacBook and iPad, as well as cases for iPhone and AirPods. Signature full-grain leather from Scandinavia holds exceptional characteristics and is beautifully unique. This type of leather will develop a beautiful patina over time. So where does the wool come into it? That's the clever part. The wool felt they use in a majority of our products is made of 100% natural wool. It blends perfectly together with the leather to result in unmatched beauty, whilst protecting valuable hardware from scratches and damages. NEW for 2022, Woolnut have recreated the beauty and design of their leather assortment in a range of PU and synthetic wool. 

WHY?

If you visit Woolnut's website (link left) you will see just a handful of the press reviews of the offer - leading Apple publications who have given the brand their seal of approval. The consumer reviews are also all 5*. So the product us received well by the "in the know", but what we love is some of the backstory that isn't as well known. Woolnut's unwavering focus on creating products sustainably, manufacturing sites that support the underprivileged, and a business model that supports the retailer/distributor with MOQ's of single units and attractive margins. Woolnut provides all partners a product assortment that according to the "in the know" is the gold standard, supporting the Apple consumer who (as we know from their purchase) is focused on design and quality. Whilst "other" premium leather goods brands exist for the iPhone, Woolnut have carved a niche in the sleeve/folio market for MacBook and iPad.

WHERE?

Woolnut produce premium accessories to protect Apple hardware. We've focused our business development efforts on APR, Department stores, Gift and Gadget and speciality (fashion) retail. We have a full suite of digital assets (video and product/lifestyle images) to support selected online placement. 

HOW?

Visual merchandising is extremely important to the team at Vonmählen.  

To support correct retail execution Vonmählen have developed a suite of display materials and offer bespoke designs to support any retail environment. Displays support all product categories and are available in a choice of permanent (there is a cost implication) and single use cardboard POS for countertop or freestanding purposes. Packaging/display/materials are aligned to brand values and promote "nordic simplicity".  

Lifestyle, videos and product images  are categorised and offered to all partners through an online portal, ensuring ready access at any time. Assets to support social media placement are also available subject to any local translation needs.
