WHO?
US based Hyphen have an altogether different approach to product development - they listen. Working closely with retailers and distributors internationally (most of their business is international) they react quickly to trends within the channel focusing their attention not only on the iPhone - but second and third tier devices. This is how we came in contact. Within the APAC region there is a growing market for devices like Xiaomi and, yes you guessed it - no accessories. This approach, together with super low MOQ's has fuelled their growth and expansion into the categories below.
WHAT?
Their core product range reflects demand from retailers across a number of product categories. Smartphone protection, smart watch protection, screen protectors, power, cables and cases (sure I've missed a few - check out their website link left). As before the "what" is down to demand. Now just in case you're thinking that this is like an OEM offer, you'd be very wrong. Across all models, all categories the product team at Hyphen design and develop solutions that are beautiful in their design and packaging ensuring that the range hangs together in store.
WHY?
I think that I've covered a lot in the WHO, WHAT sections; however just to reinforce the point. If as a retailer or distributor you have identified a device that isn't supported within your region, you now have a solution - Hyphen. Whilst the majority of brands that play in the accessories space focus on iPhone (and maybe Samsung) the business across the other devices is wide open. Sure potentially it is "from top down" a smaller opportunity, but are you capturing 100% of the iPhone business now? If you are that's great, but for many of our partners the race to pegs for the leading brands is a scramble. Hyphen also play in this space (iPhone/Samsung) so not only do you have access to a comprehensive mix for the second tier, as brand awareness increases and retailers look to consolidate their supply - yes, you guessed it, that's why they now cover all brands. Hyphen have grown organically from success in the countries they sell into.
WHERE?
Everywhere a smartphone case/accessory is sold. Hyphen have a comprehensive digital asset library and for retailers, point of sale that supports placement and education.

HOW?
Visual merchandising is extremely important to the team at Vonmählen.
To support correct retail execution Vonmählen have developed a suite of display materials and offer bespoke designs to support any retail environment. Displays support all product categories and are available in a choice of permanent (there is a cost implication) and single use cardboard POS for countertop or freestanding purposes. Packaging/display/materials are aligned to brand values and promote "nordic simplicity".
Lifestyle, videos and product images are categorised and offered to all partners through an online portal, ensuring ready access at any time.
